Review: HeadKandy Hair Extentions

This is my natural hair length.

  

 I have been trying for the past 10 years (okay, more than that) to grow out my hair. My younger sister has grown her hair long twice. As for me I have NEVER had my hair long. I am currently in the process of--yep, you guessed it, growing my hair out...again. Currently it is to my shoulders...I keep telling myself I need patience but what I really need is some hair extensions to speed up the process...thank goodness HeadKandy came to the rescue!

   HeadKandy's Single & Quad Hair Extensions are made with 100% human hair. Their Full Head Extensions are made with 100% Remy Human Hair. This is Grade A Remy (what that means is that it is the best of the best). Remy means the hair is specially selected and is sewn onto the weft in the same direction of natural hair growth. The cuticles are still in place and will all face the same way which means no tangles and gives a perfect soft, silky feel.

I was sent HeadKandy Hair Extensions in the 20-22 inch length in the Organic Black color. The hair extensions come in a stylish box that contains 10 wefts of various sizes, 3 spare hair clips and an instructional booklet.

The wefts are made up of one clip wefts (2), two clip wefts (5), three clip wefts (2) and one quad weft. The quad weft is basically four wefts in one. All the wefts are numbered-using the instructional booklet and the numbers you will know exactly where and how to place each weft. I found this extremely helpful.

I really appreciated that Head Kandy Hair Extensions are split in two separate compartments when you receive them. One compartment contains a small weft you use to check the color and length. If the color or length isn't what you wanted you can just send the whole package back for a full refund or exchange.

The hair is beautiful and matches my color perfectly. While there is no way I could just wear the hair extensions straight for length alone (unless I went to a salon to get them shaped around the length of my hair now) I could definitely wear my hair up or down curled with my extensions in. Once my hair grows out to a longer length the hair extensions will look a bit more natural while straight.
