A bit about Beautiful Creatures

   Beautiful Creatures is a love story set in the South. The story's main characters Lena and Ethan are star crossed lovers who together uncover dark secrets about their town, its history and their respective families. If this story sounds familiar to you it might be because the movie is based on the first novel in the best-selling series by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. The film stars Alden Ehrenreich (“Tetro”), newcomer Alice Englert, Academy Award® winner Jeremy Irons (“Reversal of Fortune”) Oscar® nominee Viola Davis (“The Help,” “Doubt”), Emmy Rossum (TV’s “Shameless”), Thomas Mann (“Project X”) and Academy Award® winner Emma Thompson (“Howard’s End,” “Sense and Sensibility”).

My Review

Pür Minerals being inspired by the film Beautiful Creatures created Pür’s newest makeup palette-both charming and dangerous. The palette includes eight eyeshadows, a black eyeliner and a dewy lip gloss. I was sent the Limited Edition Collection palette to review and I love Pür's relation to the story line and the makeup palette. The makeup palette features both dark and light shades that compliment each other nicely. All the colors are soft enough to be worn during the day and can be easily be layered for a more sophisticated night time look. My favorite color out of the eyeshadows would be Cursed (a deep rich plum)-it looks good on any skin tone and blends beautifully with Siren. The lip gloss in Lust is definitely a must have-it leaves your lips a dewy pink with a bit of shine. There are so many looks you can get from this palette-I created quite a few already.
